Napapiirin Saarituvat, Saarituvat-cottages, is situated along the beautiful river Kemijoki 7 kilometers away from Rovaniemi city center.
Old farm turned into a traveler’s base in 1972 and since then we have been able to offer our customers a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere in natural surroundings.
The view to the river is very unique and one of the most beautiful landscapes in Rovaniemi.
Our main service is self-catering accommodations in our cozy and tiny red cottages/log cabins.
During summer season 2025 we don’t any more have any services for camping visitors. And also our summer cottages are not any more available.

There are 16 wintertime cottages/log cabins (1-3 persons) and a house for 4-5 persons. All the wintertime cottages are equipped with a toilet & shower, minikitchen, tv, bed linen and towels. In the kitchen you will find a coffee maker, fridge, water boiler, toaster, microwave, and a set of dishes. We also have 6 cottages with a fireplace available.

There are 8 summer cottages which are all equipped with electrical heating, hot plate, coffee maker, fridge, set of dishes for morning coffee and evening supper, bed linen, and towels. You can find toilets and showers from back side of our reception building. There is also a summer kitchen which you can use as well.
Summer cottages are not in use for the time being.
During summer, our reception is open from Monday to Friday 12-18 and Saturday and Sundays are closed. For the weekends needs to do prebooking in summertime.
Other times, we prefer to have your reservation requests beforehand by e-mail. Please notice our limited telephone service hours. From September to March, please take into account our opening hours. We operate mainly with pre-bookings during winter.
Camping is closed for the time being. So no possibility to camp in our place for a while.
Welcome! We invite you to sleep well.
Some people look for a beautiful place. Others make a place!
You can also choose a cottage with fireplace.
Price includes free WiFi connection covering the Saarituvat area.
